Concrete Compaction: Ensuring Strength and Durability

Concrete compaction is a very important link in concrete construction, it can make concrete more compact, more strong, improve the compressive performance and durability of concrete.The basic principle is that by applying high pressure, the concrete forms a solid structure in a closed mold. Compaction method

Manual compaction method Manual compaction method is a traditional concrete compaction method, suitable for small construction projects. The specific steps are as follows:
(1) Evenly spread a layer of fine sand on the concrete surface to reduce friction and make the concrete surface smooth.
(2) Make a hole distance of about 30cm and a hole depth of about 10cm on the surface of the concrete with steel nails or wooden sticks to remove bubbles and debris in the concrete.
(3) Pour the concrete into the template in layers, with the thickness of each layer not exceeding 10cm.
(4) The concrete surface is evenly compacted by hand or stick until the concrete surface is smooth.
